Dear all,

It's some time since I have written so I am taking the opportunity, now that Pesach is upon us, to catch up with you all.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their messages of support during my ongoing illness. I have come to realise that our friends and the Jewish Community in Spain are as much an extended part of my family as I could hope for. I am still attending the hospital on a daily basis, which takes up a lot of our time. Once there is a significant improvement, Jackie and I will return to Spain and the regular Friday services can resume.

Next, Jackie and I were very touched by the cards, emails and messages we received for our 40th wedding anniversary. We thought it would pass unnoticed, but this weekend our daughters gave us a surprise party to which many of the Community came. Unfortunately our girls only know a selection of our friends, so apologies if you were not invited. Jackie and I cannot be blamed for that!! There are some photos posted in the Gallery section.

Finally, Jackie and I wish you all a happy and kosher Pesach.
