As in previous years there were 2 events for Chanukah.

The first was held at Tamara and Maurice's finca in the countryside. Approximately 40 people came along, all with plates of delicious food to be enjoyed by everyone. It was a lovely time and old friends were able to 'catch-up' whilst new friendships were made. Towards the end of the afternoon, menorah were lit by those who brought them, and everyone joined in the singing of Moat Zur.

The second event was on the last night of Chanukah. Our especially made Menorah was taken to the beach at Playa Flamenca and was set up on the promenade. About 60 people then heard Alan explain the story of Chanukah and then Councillor Sofia Alvarez lit the candles. After some rousing singing, Sangria and Do-nuts were handed out to all present. The local police were also in attendance.
